Our support team often gets the following question: "What documents are provided if I send equipment to Bird's service center?"
When your product is either purchased new or sent to our Bird Service Center you will be provided with a Certificate of Calibration and a calibration label.
Certificate of Calibration provides verification of the calibration. It contains the customer information, test standards information, the as found and as left condition in terms of in or out of tolerance, and the applicable standards information that the testing is in accordance with. No measurement values of the testing is included.
Typically, the certificate of calibration will be printed on the product on the packing list, reading as follows:
The Calibration Label shows the date of calibration and the next recommended date of calibration.
Calibration data (caldata) can also be requested but there is an additional charge for this. It is the Certificate of Calibration that includes the test measurement values from the testing.
If your calibration certificate has been lost or you want to order calibration data, you will need to reach out to the Sales team at sales@birdrf.com.
