Will a Model 43 wattmeter measure the RF power of a base station in a tier 3 DMR trunked radio system?

Follow

If the Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) that you are trying to measure is a base station, and all of the slots are active, the Model 43 will probably work for you and give you the forward and reflected average power.

The Model 43 will not be accurate on a handheld or if all the slots are not active in a base station. It is  recommended to use one of our wideband power sensors (5012D, 5016D, 5017D, 5018D, or 5019D) depending on the frequency range and power level being measured.
