Resolving Connection Issues Between the 4042 Sensor and 3141 Meter

Issue: There is a connection error that can prevent the 4042 sensor from being detected by the 3141 meter. This issue occurs due to a disagreement between the sensor and the meter on the sensor's order.

Solution: Follow these steps to reset the digital sensors and establish the connection:

  1. Connect the Sensor:

    • Plug the 4042 sensor into the 3141 meter.
  2. Reset the Digital Sensors:

    • On the 3141 meter, press the MENU button.
    • Use the DOWN button to navigate to Digital Sensor Setup.
    • Press the ENTER button.
    • Again, use the DOWN button to find Reset Digital Sensors.
    • Press ENTER to reset the digital sensors.
  3. Back Out to Scanning Screen:

    • After resetting, navigate back to the scanning screen before attempting to re-add your digital sensors.

By following these steps, the 4042 sensor should be detected by the 3141 meter, resolving the connection issue.
