How do I use an interlock control circuit?

RF Loads such as the 8630B and 8640B series include an interlock control circuit that provides fail-safe protection of the transmitter and load resistor in the event of an ac power failure.

When the thermoswitch detects an appropriate temperature and the flow switch is indicating that water is moving at an appropriate flow rate, the interlock automatically provides a path of continuity for whatever level the transmitter/generator is using as the stimulus.

To "turn interlock supply on," turn on the power connected to the load. This power must match the interlock relay specs given in the manual for your load.
